A sandwich constructed back lock with CF would be great. Just needs a means of deployment from the chain. If what is holding it to the chain deploys the knife when pulled on for use that would be great. I have some ideas that can make that happen. If it’s more decorative, some shell inlay in g-10 or micarta could be good to keep the weight down. I bet Sal has something good for this project.

I agree with Doc Dan. The most important thing is that the pendant is salt and water proof. It should also be light enough to be worn all the time.
