Factory Second Sale GAW!
Posted: Sun Nov 24, 2019 12:36 am
I find myself fortunate enough to have lived near the Spyderco Factory Outlet for over a decade now. In that time I've gone to my fair share of second sales and purchased way too many knives ever single time I went. I know everyone doesn't get the chance to come to the sale, so I would like to give away a Spyderco Pro Grip that I purchased at the 2018 sale. I bought this knife with a broken tip and reground it as you can see below. I took my time with the regrind, dipping it in water after every pass and used fresh belts to avoid overheating the blade and then did a quick reprofile at 40°on the sharpmaker.
This give away is open to any and everyone who is a forum member before 11/22/19 and has never been to a seconds sale, this is all honor system, so if you meet the criteria just simply post an 'I'm in' or sometime similar to let me know you'd like to participate. I will cut off entries at 9pm mountain time on 12/8/19, this will give everyone a solid two weeks to enter and at the end of that time I'll add everyone's username to a list and use one of the random generator websites to pick a winner.
I plan on covering the shipping cost myself to any US resident, but I'd also like to include all of our international friends too. I've never shipped a knife overseas, so if the winner happens to live overseas all that I ask is that you help provide me a little guidance with the shipping process.
