I thought Seki-City Japan was the maker. Their name is already on the knife.

Sal is the designer, but they call that symbol a maker's mark. The knife is made in Seki City, Japan.

It's the designer's mark or logo. In this case, Sal Glesser's.

You’ll love it. What we need is a GITD PAC Salt or Manix 2 LW.

you’re trying to hurt me. you know my weaknesses. if there was a pac salt or manix with black blade and hardware in a gitd handle, i’d just have to apologize to my wife.

well, i got my gitd delica. i may be passing this one along. i’ve always been a little meh about the delica anyway and said i’d only spend the money for one if it was something special, which this one is. however, one of the things i don’t prefer about the delica is the handle shape. i always thought i’d mod a delica to a lil para from boomer52, but the thing that’s special about this one is the handle, so that doesn’t work.

speaking of special, the gitd doesn’t last as long as i’d hoped. i mean it’s cool, but it’s just like anything else that glows and starts losing its power immediately and quickly once the light source is removed.

i do think this is a great knife. i love the thin blade on the delica compared to the similarly sized native salt i have. i love that this exclusive model has sal’s mark on the blade. i love how compact the delica is when folded. i also love it’s light weight. and the gitd is definitely cool even though it doesn’t last as long as i had hoped.

the problem comes with there being too many knives on the list and not enough funds for them all. there are a few knives i think i’d prefer to this one. and, for the price, i’m just not excited about vg10. i don’t know... i might keep it, but i might sell it and wait for a delica with a better steel that i can put into a different handle. i’m on the fence. it’s a great knife, but i’m not sure it’s the right one for me at the moment.

by the way, these are available at knife center again right now. better pick one up if you want it.

Really? With mine the very intense glow fades in a few minutes but it is highly visible for at least 12 hours afterwards in the dark.

yeah... with a good charge, it’s alright for a while, but it’s not bright.

i’ve been flicking it for the last 30 minutes and was just coming back to delete my post. it really is a great knife and the gitd handle is cool. i’m just trying to decide if i’d rather have the lil native i’ve been wanting for a while more than this one. i can carry the lil native at work, where i can’t carry this one. i’ll probably just hang on to this one because i do like it. i can always grab the lil native later, which wasn’t an option for the gitd delica.
