Does anyone know when they will be released ?
I'm in a cold sweat atm.

A knifecenter rep told me that they were told "early October" by Spyderco. Sometimes things get delayed, so I wouldn't be surprised if if ends up being later.

In Europe it's available already

Wow, I read in another thread they hoped to have by November. But if it's in Europe already, maybe we'll see it soon!

The app didn't lie. It started shipping to domestic dealers today.

I might have to get this one as a consolation for missing out on the 4v. Trying to decide if I need to give Cruwear another shot.

It just seems to be a middle ground between steels I like more. It's not as tough as 3v, and doesn't hold an edge as well as 4v. I find that I'm always opting for one of those instead of Cruwear. Usually it's the 4v (or going even further for K390 or Maxamet). I think that 4v is just a lot more to my personal taste than Cruwear. I have a (two actually) CruWear Manix (my favorite platform) and after giving it an "apples to apples" comparison, I pretty much always opt for the 4v or Maxamet Manix in preference to it. When I'm picking up one of my mules, I almost always pick K390 rather than PD1. Basically I just never find myself picking Cruwear when I have an identical platform in another steel as an option.

Really wanted this one for a long time, but after acquiring the Manix 2 in Cruwear, and the Shaman in 4V, I feel I have nothing to gain here. 1 extra available out there in the rat race!! I hope one of you get the one I passed on!

I reeeely want this one. But Ive got four Shamans now, need to stop.
