I was home today when the mail delivered the package and I found out exactly what my wife got me for our wedding anniversary. She got me a one eyed Jack.

This is really a piece of pocket jewelry. It is amazing the quality of workmanship and the beauty of this knife.

I couldn’t be happier with mine too! I’ve said it before, but I kind of consider the One Eyed Jack to be Spydercos closest model to a custom. It has so much finish work in it that it might as well be custom. I’m just happy to own such an incredible piece of Spyderco history. :spyder:

This is an amazing knife, to be sure. Pictures do not do justice to it.

If I were making it I would choose a backlock and put jimping on the bottom of the bolsters. But it is as nice as any custom is realistically likely to be (I’ve seen a few) without spending a huge amount of cash. I’m amazed at the inlays. They seem to be stamped, they are so perfect. The tooling on the liners and blackstrap is very nice. This is Spyderco Taichung at its best.

They are running low on stock at suppliers. However, some of these sellers will hold one for you if you ask nicely and allow you to gather funds. I think knifejoy might even have a layaway program...not sure.
