Police LW vs. Endura

What are the main differences here? Why would one purchase a black VG-10 Police LW over the multitude of Endura variations? I can see the appeal if they released the Police LW in Navy FRN with K390, but on the other hand they could have just done a Navy/K390 Endura Sprint. Sell me on the Police LW!

Ergos. The Endura just never felt right in my hand. Which is a real shame. I like the blade shape, the size, the variety of scales/steel, etc. The Endura has a pronounced "point" in the handle. My fingers don't fit the handle very well at all.
The Endela seems to address this issue. But the Endela isn't the knife for me. Knives great than 3" are not legal to carry where I am. So the Endela should fit my hand better, but it is not legal to carry. Having a knife that can do work around my apartment is a useful thing. So I would pass on the Endela and go straight for the Police 4 LW. The longer blade means I can use different parts of the blade for my cuts, thus I can use the blade longer than the Endela. The handle of the P4LW is rather neutral when compared to the other Seki models. This leads me to believe that it will be more comfortable in my hand in a variety of grips or with gloves on. I also like the forward finger choil if I need to choke up.
If you find the Endura to be a comfortable blade, it may be hard to tell you that the P4LW is the better option. The Endura is a great model. You can buy one right now with HAP40 for less than the P4LW. But, for me, the Endura just doesn't fit right. And since I am going to be buying a knife that I will only use for work around my apartment, the P4LW seems to be my best option.

For me the Police is just TOO long, especially when closed in the pocket. The Endura for me personally has the perfect length, especially the blade, and is still considered a large knife by most (AND I happen to like the ergos).
But then, if you like even longer blades, the Police LW is the logical next step up. I think it fits nicely in the progression Delica- Endela - Endura- Police, being probably about the amount longer than the Endura, as the Endura is longer than the Endela... plus it has a choil, something I personally don't mind anymore but also don't need

I worry about that as well, but I am not looking for a knife that is comfortable in my pocket. I need one that is comfortable in my hand when I have work to do.

Sure! But with Endura (or Stretch 1) I personally get both! :)

The Police4 is quite a bit bigger than an Endura.
For me the Police4 is way more ergonomic.

Yeah, i'm looking at more comparison pics and it looks a lot bigger in some pics and not much bigger in others. I see the size difference now in some of these other pics.
I wonder if we will see a Foliage Green Combo Edge variation? I like that version of the Delica and Endura. I'd buy one in the Police LW to check out.

The Endura does not fit my hand without modification because of those finger ridges/bumps being in the wrong places and too sharp. I have a large hand, I will say from the get-go. The P4, I assume, will be far more comfortable in that regard, though less pocketable. I like the P4 blade shape better.

As said, I personally can have both "comfortable in the pocket" AND "comfortable in the hand" (plus the for me perfect and still long edge-length) with an Endura.
But sure, that's only true cause I like the ergos of this model a lot.
Generally I can't fully understand if one disregards the ",comfort in the pocket"-factor. Sure for me "comfort in the hand" is clearly
more important either, but let's be honest: In fact most of us
carry their folders way more than actually
use them...
So if there were only two folders in the world, one only comfortable in the pocket, one only comfortable in the hand, I'd still take the latter, no doubt. But in Spydercos world I can have both, and I take it....

One feels perfect in my grip and one feels terrible. Makes it a pretty easy choice.

I feel like other than both being frn, they’re a totally different knife.

To be clear: Never handled a Police (but many Enduras), but just from the looks:
Blade shape (other than the reenforced tip of the Endura)? Blade stock? Lock? Thumb ramp? ... At least SOME similarities imho.

Most knives in this class hold similarities
