Serrated Gunting

#1

Post by Glenn »

Sal,

On one of your other posts you indicated that the combo edge gunting was not currently on the production schedule. Does this mean that Spyderco might just make the plain edge gunting or just that it might be awhile before it is produced? I have the trainer and was waiting to get a live serrated version. Thanks

Hi Spy De. We have serrated version, we don't have a combo version.

Sal,

On such a small blade I would prefer the full serrated so that is even better. I will definitely get one. Thanks for making such cool knives.

Hi Sal,
where can I get some of the serrated Guntings? I've been trying like mad to get a lead on the serrated version (without bugging you ;-} ), but no luck. Everyone only has the plain-edge version in stock.

Bram has let me know that there will be a serrated version, and that he'd try to obtain some. Is there another way to get one (preferably two)?

Oops, REPOST. Just to show how urgently I want some of these!! ;-}

I resubmitted when the server responded with an error message, and the repost was the result...

Heyns van der Merwe,

As far as I know (which is not saying much) the serrated gunting as not been released yet. I live near the SFO and they said they will give me a call when they come in. I also want one of these very much. I will revive this post when I manage to get my hands on one.

Yes Bram! I am glad we also got you interested in the Ser G, AND we'll never let up until we have ser G's and the "Guru".

On the serrations - I would really like serrations like those on the Military (wavy)and not like on the Endura (very accute). But ofcourse I am only an elu so who's gonna listen to me? (smile) - I can only make a request and see what happens!
