I didn't even know they said "HOWDY" in Scotland  I thought that was a cliche greeting exclusive to the Southwest part of the USA :D

All kidding aside it's really good to have you aboard Reiver :) Welcome to Spyderville

It's really getting interesting to see how Spyderco is penetrating international barriers in unexpected places >> but hey that's a really good thing!! :)

Welcome to the forum.

The traditional knives of Scotland are also very good. Would you like to see a Spyderco version as part of their Ethnic Series, of say a Spyderco Sgian Dubh or a Spyderco dirk of some kind? Imagine a folding Sgian Dubh, with both traditional and more up to date design features, using one of the super steel alloys and a handle material such as FRN or G10?

The Spyderco Euro was sort of like that.

Welcome to the funny farm :)

SpyderEdgeForever: I'd love a Spyderized Sgian Dubh! Was close to buying the Boker one, but the "Magnum" on the blade made me keep my money..

Exactly my thoughts, Larry. Thank you!

A Spyderco version would be excellent.

From Scotland! That's great!! Welcome to the forum.

The Para 3 is a fantastic 3 inch knife, and as I'm sure you know wildly popular.

Welcome from the Chicago suburbs. I just joined the other day, though I've had Spydercos for decades. They're solid knives; I try others, but keep coming back to Spyderco.

The Para 3 has landed and I’m very impressed with its quality, fit and finish are excellent. The blade lock up is absolutely solid with zero play. Love the blade design and it amongst other tasks looks like it will be a good skinner.
Knife laws here in UK mean for normal carry a blade must be 3” or under, non locking or fixed. I use mines for work so can carry without any hassles.
Looking forward to putting it through it’s paces.
