The Customscrew for SS Cricket

#1

Post by voxnaes »

Hi All,

What if Sal started making a set of screws for the SS Cricket that was 2 mm. longer than the regular ones. This would able us to customize the Cricket with a scale of almost any material, and still have solid making. I have a problem with only gluing the scale on since I know it´s not as good as also securing it with the screws.

You would also still be able to disasemble the knife if needed!

What say you?!

I say "**** yes" and another yes to a Vox-Cricket <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

I think glued on scales will stay on tight but screwed on scales look better.

I'd be awful surprised if Spyderco actually made the screws, but I have a feeling they could tell you where to get the ones you're looking for.

You guys miss the point,
I really don´t give a ..... where Sal gets his screws, but I think it would be a great service if Spyderco offered larger screws for the Locos out there that wanted to customize!!
I can make the screws myself, or find them somewhere else, but why not get them at Spyderco!!?

We need one person to buy a bag of 100, then pay them a $1.00 to mail them to us. Just an idea.
