National Knives has lots of Worksharp items on sale once you log in to your account. Well worth a look if you are considering one of their sharpeners. NK has always treated me well.

Blade width said 1 & 1/2 inch.
I would assume that means from Edge to Edge?

I think it's just for fun. I don't see any practical use in the modern USA. It sure does look like fun, though. :)

Blade Width = Approx. 1.68”
Look on the bright side, it's more than double a 12 gauge slug.
Insert and rotate, it'll work just fine.
