CPM Rex 45 Para 2 !!

It’s here. Beautiful knife. As others have mentioned, this is not a bright, punchy orange. Very sharp out of the box... able to treetop some arm hair. Almost perfectly centered. It came tip down and that’s the way I carry my other PM2, so the screws stay put where they are. Action is smooth but not free-dropping. Yet. I’m thrilled to have gotten one.

Cool, yeah, I got my shipping notification pretty shortly after I ordered so I assume all is well. Finally i was in the right place at the right time I guess!

I do wonder if the whole batch of Rex 45 PM2 has been dispatched to all retailers? My reasoning is the lack of them on the big auction site and on BF exchange. I realise they are probably more popular than the M4 Jade, but man it seemed like the flip market was flooded with those a day after release.

There may be more to come. Compared to the Jade, I'm guessing that was a larger run.

That's bc the Jade M4s all came from the same place. Everyone ordered theirs in the same three hour window...and everyone got theirs the very same week.

Oh snap.. They just lowered the price here in an eu store and put it on par with the price of the regular black satin s30v.
. But yesterday I ordered a new 0450cf too.. (only non spydie Knife I love. Take the edge up and you've got a little pocket beast with superb deployment there.. But I don't own 5 seperate paramillies 2 for no reason.

Someone tell me Rex 45 isn't all that hot and my m390 and 2x cruwear plus a regular blacked out beater is enough.

I feel like I'm really gonna regret not getting it once money is plentiful again.

I did get a great new job so money will be no issue a month from now and I can afford it plus the 0450cf if I live sparingly the next 2 weeks.. What to do.. I've been grabbing the pm2 for years now out of a collection of more then twenty great knives whenever I needed a blade which I know would handle it, and handle it well without fail.

Also, tips to justify another 'one of those knives with a hole in it? Don't you already have one of those anyway?'
Telling her it's a new steel with particulary interesting qualities won't cut t it. Or the old; what can this new one do that your others can't? 3 years and I still have no comeback to that haha.

Ask her how many pairs of shoes she owns and if she can wear more than one pair at a time. Works for me.
