Cheers! Already enjoying my second glass. :D
What did you use your Spyderco for last?
Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
I switched to Talisker now. A little smoke and brine for the LC200N.
Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
Oh man, that's one of my personal favorites! Unfortunately I recently ran out, and have not purchased a replacement bottle yet.
Sorry everyone else for the thread hijack, but this makes me think a Spyderco / Whisky thread is in order!
Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
No need for apologies. Let's enjoy our glasses.

I feel like the talisker was probably the best match to the house. Also one of the better whiskeys too. I can't get my hands on the lagavulin (house lanister) though. I heard it was good as well. They did wines too.

Seems like lc200n goes best with the seafaring house Greyjoy, too.

Each piece is 18 inches wide. 5 cuts per piece. About 40 pieces. So that’s around 3600 inches which is like 300 ft. Will still shave for the most part.

Ha! Got my Dad’s 7009 going and it’s keeping good time; if I got the necessary parts for a second my wife would be quite annoyed as I also just ordered an SRPD21!GarageBoy wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 4:18 pmDrop a movement in! The ends of the bracelet had little boobs of 43 year old adhesive and Velcro tabs to secure it to the display mount. I used the K390 ladybug to cut the Velcro off; the end links are now soaking in denatured alcohol to free the rest of the old stickum. Now I have a case, dial, hand set, day and date wheel I don’t need.
P.s. who’s Spencer Klein?

The new Manix broke this down quite easily. I appreciate the negative tip angle a lot, almost like a wharncliffe while drawing.

Backyard camping followed by breakfast fixed over my well-travelled Coleman propane stove.

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
We're allowed to do construction again so we did a little bit of work at the gym, though we're at least a month from reopening.
I ordered a rice plate for lunch and they delivered without utensils. The wide blade on the Manix 2 made a surprisingly effective spoon, and the tip is still fine enough to pierce the larger pieces of tofu like a fork. The more I use the Manix the more I like it, ergonomic complaints aside.
