hydraulicman-

Welcome aboard!

I never really gave this any thought, as I'm not usually in any big crowds! But a "Theme" park comes to mind as a perfect spot for this.

I guess I'd be just another victim!

But the knife fits real tight in the pocket so hopefully I'd feel someone trying to get it...although knives aren't allowed in parks like this.

Anyway with your name I could have used your help with a work tractor today!!!!!!!

It happened to me a while back, before I got my Spec-Ops Brand T.H.E. Wallet(and this was the reason I bought it too!!).

I was at Sands casino In Atlantic City. I accidentally knocked over my hiking stick. I bent over to pick it up. And while I was bent over, I felt fingers going into the pocket where my wallet was. I turned and looked at the punk and said to him:"Your hand better be on my butt, because you think I'm cute!!!!"
Scared the crap out of him and he took off!!!<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

BIG-TARGET>>>>>>>>>"The Matrix is a system Neo. That system is our enemy. And when you're inside, and look around, what do you see...businessmen...teachers...lawyers...carpenters...the very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system, and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured-so hopelessly dependent on the system-that they will fight to protect it."---Morpheus("The Matrix")

Reason #1,341 for wearing Cabela's cargo shorts, with "hurricane" pockets- The pockets easily are a foot deep. Grabbing my wallet out of one would probably be near impossible.

Never underestimate the impossible.

the only think not HARD to access on me are my clipped knives. wearing BDUs with pockets just over a foot deep with a buttoned flap, I carry my zippo/baindaids/toolbits in the top pockets, and the rest is in the sides.

I was standing on a crowded bus in Switzerland. I felt my day-pack being slowly unzipped. I turned and said "Caught ya"! He sheepishly smiled and I figured it was over. It was not. A couple of minutes later, I felt the zipper going down again! THIS time, I LOST MY TEMPER and kicked the SOB in the knee. I apologize to the people who won't like this, however I showed him what an "Ugly American" meant. He rolled around on the floor and I got off at the next stop. I have little patience with thieves.

Never had this problem.I always wear jeans(to tight for them to get anything without you feeling it)or hikeing shorts(you sure know when that velcro lets go.Bdus would be the only ones I would worry about but the flap helps some(they don't know if it is buttoned or not)

I learn something new everyday, even though I don't want to. Jeff

Alot of times, I carry folders (with or without clips) in my pocket for that same reason. I've also started carrying my wallet in either my breast pocket in my jacket or my front pocket in my jeans. It sucks alot to get your wallet ripped off. I know firsthand. Some jerk took off with my THE WALLET and decided to charge up all of my credit cards. In the end, I figure some good came of it as I had to buy a new wallet and now I have an Infinity Rayskin bifold which I really really like. I'd still love to know who did it though.
