EuroEdge Exceeds Expectations

A EuroEdge has been my grail since they were first introduced. One turned up on a gun forum and I went for it. No regrets. It may not be for everyone, but this is absolutely my favorite Spyderco.

Image

It's a big, hefty knife with a blade just shy of 4 inches. The symmetrical dagger shape and purposeful fullers arrest the eye. A flat grind, single edge and huge swedge leave it thickest in the centerline.

The contoured and polished G10 scales are gorgeous and fist filling. A generous relief makes the robust liner lock easy to release.

I like it a lot. Thank you, Mr. Ed Schempp.

Its for me, love mine, not really an EDC but easily one of the nicest pieces I have. Great pictures by the way.

It is a beautiful knife. I hope to pick one up eventuallly even if it isn't the most practical knife for me. It's just so good looking and I like the size of it.

I need one to match the little lapel pin I have, I didn't really care about the design but seeing it everyday on my backpack has really made me want one. I agree this pics are great. I would love to try this one out

I'm kinda bitter that a knife like this gets the sculpted handle treatment when very few people will buy and use this knife. I'd much rather see it done on a model that better suits everyday use.

You are correct, sir. A light, handy Positron will give you a contoured handle at an affordable price, but it is the only one I can think of.

Beautiful knife, in my view similar to the Vallotton, not that EDCable, but got the WOW factor like no other Spydies.

You are welcome, Mr. Schempp, and thank you again.
The EuroEdge appeals to my Scottish roots as a contemporary folding version
of the ancient Sgian-dubh, a single-edged "black dagger".
It will be a family heirloom.
