Does anyone know when we can expect to see some of the new for 2017 models that never came? More specifically I have been wanting to get the A.T.R. 2 since it was announced in 2016 and it is now 2018 in mere hours.

I'm wondering about the ATR 2 as well.

I thought I saw a post where Sal said the Caribbean should hit this year. Hopefully January now.

ATR and Caribbean should be out in January. Though the ATR is limited production and may be harder to get for a while.

Please show some respect and understanding towards Spyderco. There is no such thing as garbage from them. You have a right to your opinion but come on man. They do their best and myself and others are very glad and thankful.

Brother I've been waiting since about a decade ago for one sprint run of the Police 3, meanwhile I can't count how many Para 3 variations came out in 2017. Consider yourself lucky

Thanks for the update Sal. I have really been looking forward to the Caribbean. I pre-ordered the Leaf PE and SE. This will be my first SE Spyderco.

I've had the ATR2 on pre order since Aug. Hopefully I will get one. Wonder if the preorder price stands or if MAP increase will change things in 2 days?

Looks like no January release for the ATR 2.

This model was my top choice from the 2017 catalog. Is it unusual for Spyderco to not deliver on NEW knives listed in the catalog?

People complain when it takes time to do something right, and people complain when things are put out and end up needing CQI changes (washer/bearing issues for example). You guys just need to chill and let them take as much time as necessary to get the knives produced. Which do you want, knives that are rushed into production and fall short of expectations or knives that take a little time to get right? Heck I waited like 20 years for StarCraft 2 you guys will be fine waiting a couple more months lol.
