How about an American fixed blade?

How about an American made fixed blade? Something for hunting/ utility would be my preference. There just seems to be a shortage of American made fixed blades in Spyderco's catalog. 4.5" to 5"blade cts204p or cpms110v would be cool. Something like the temperance or large military.

Shelter Cove in CPM154? Please! :)

A 5 inch drop point hunter in Cruwear with 4mm blade stock, ffg, green canvas micarta, the Temp2 shaped handle, and a leather sheath?

A full size Schempp Rock like Ed's original competition knife?

A 9-10 inch Bowie chopper in CPM M4? There is a case in the SFO with Gayle Bradley's competition knife. It is similar to that. You could base it off of that knife.

Just throwing ideas out there and trying to think of things that fill gaps in the current lineup. There is no fillet knife and no chopper. What else would you guys all like to see?

I couldn't agree more>> and I've got just the fixed blade that would go over extremely well. Being that my favorite Spyderco fixed blade is an IN HOUSE design I motion that they do the TEMPERANCE 1 fixed blade in either LC200N or one of the supersteels. Maybe a G-10 handle rather than the FRN handle on the original The TEMP 1 was disco'd so long ago I can't see what reason there would be to keep that from happening.

OH and make it available in full plain edge or full Spyderedge>> because I want one of each.

It always has been extremely curious to me as to why we haven't had a full sized fixed blade or one of the premium Hawkbill models made right here in GOLDEN,CO USA Earth

A fixed blade of good useful design in the 4.5 to 5" range made in Golden is a great idea. Maybe a drop point hunter like the Moran, but with a full tang?

Maxamet 0.100" stock, 4.5" FFG full tang drop point like the Junction and contoured ivory micarta scales like the Sprig. :)

I keep saying it and I'll say it again, a fixed blade version of the Manix 2 LW would be fantastic.

Count me in! The lack of a made-in-Golden fixed blade has had me looking at different butterfly models, unfortunately. I would imagine that, from a manufacturing perspective, these would be very simple to produce.

I'd be interested in this. Prefer Micarta for the handle material.

Many of the Mules used to be made in Golden as were the Swicks.

If I am remembering correctly the Pygmy Warrior was the last Golden made fixed blade although it was a specialized design.

What other Golden made fixed blades were there?

My first thought was what's more American than a good Bowie profile? Not the biggest fan of the hole in fixed blades though.

A fighter would be cool.

Where are the Phil Wilson's produced? We can always use more of those collabs. (< Oh yeah, Taiwan). Can they be made here, depending on the steel chosen?

Not that an M4 chopper wouldn't be awesome, but wouldn't that be pretty pricey? Pricey and smaller market niche might be a hard sell.
