Suggestion: I'm looking for a new "every day" knife.

Greetings from Italy,
as the title suggests i'm looking for a new blade to put alongide of my Endura 4. I love my Endura 4,but a man needs variety at times :)

I don't need a knife for a specific task, more something able to do everything reasonably well [which include self defence. I actually hope I never need to fight with a kinfe, and if i really have to i'd pick a Fairbairn Applegate dagger over a pocket knife, but you never know]

I already own a Manix 2 lightweight too, but i don't carry it very often: don't take me wrong it's an outstanding kinfe.. but,i don't know,it's simply not my cup of tea i presume.

I was thinking about a Police 3 or a Military [If i can find a non-black bladed one] , but i'm open to any suggestion.
Please just consider i literally HATE any kind of serrarion: i know serrations can be quite usefull in various tasks, still i hate them :)

I think a delica is pretty good.
I use it at work , And use it in my break to cut food.
Doesnt look to scary for people :)
I have experience with delica , Lava , Endura and Para

That makes is a good EDC for me

I will second the Delica but you may also want to consider a K390 Urban. It's slightly smaller than the Delica with an amazing steel. It's also a slip joint which seems to matter in some places.

As first thank you.
Second, Delica seems a great option, there is a light vertion too as far as i can see which is always good.

The urban looks like very short in my opinion, i mean watching pics i doubt it has enough space for my whole hand.

Edit: Btw, what about Para? How dou you rate him comparing to Military ?

I like the choices jdw and toeterbaas made. If you want a larger knife, the Military is a great knife and the new Police 4 is coming, if you can wait. The Pattada might be a great choice, too.

If you're thinking Police and Military, sounds like you're looking for something larger.

Not sure what your options are getting a knife from US dealer, but the Knifeworks exclusive Military with 204P steel is a beautiful knife.

Well, yes, i like "big" blades :) And fortunately here we don't have any restriction about dimension in carrying [untill it's not a dagger nor have an automatic opening you are good to go ...which is a shame considering i'm a dagger collector, but that's another story :)].

Still, size isn't the only factor i'm considering.

let me seach for Police 4 btw. And thank you.

Military seems like the clear choice given your love for the Endura. PM2 would be more like a slimmed down Manix2 to some degree... How about a Gayle Bradley2? Super steel that makes an incredible user and often referred to as one of the best values in the lineup. About a 1/4" shorter than the Endura overall. Plus its a looker:

If you need a Self defense meets Utility knife, I'd suggest the Yojimbo 2 or PM 2.

Any one of the many.......Para 2 or a Millie!!
Both amazing knives that are also so much fun to fondle!!
Simply can't go wrong with either one!! Did I mention they are incredibly fun knives to carry???
Good luck!

If you can carry a Military then that should definitely be what you get! One of the greatest knives ever invented imo. And probably the greatest liner lock of any manufacturer.

Military, GB2, or pattada based on your location and described wants. Maybe the K2 if you can still find one. And as far as customs, simply list the knife as a tool. It's true and it flies under the radar much more than listing it as a knife specifically.

PM2 would be my choice.

I'd also think about a Military or Pattada.

If you think the Military will work for you then that's the answer right there, no need to ponder any further.

I occasionally carry a Military but 80% of my EDC carry is with some variety of PM2 or Manix 2.

If you like daggers have you looked at the Euroedge? It is single bladed but is of that style.

Well, I was going to suggest the Manix 2 since it has such a great blade shape. So, how about a Caly 3.5 or PM 2?

I know I'm being blasphemous but take a look at the BM Griptillian. It's in my EDC rotation with my Spydercos and is a solid knife. :)
