Hi Folks,

Sal asked for a Poll on scale colors for the new upcoming Chaparral LW. He said he did not want to do black, so I left it out of the poll. Please describe the color you would like to see. Brown, for example, can be UPS brown or dark chocolate. You can choose 3 and can change your mind and revote, later.

I actually like the darker colors on knife scales, so I would like to see a dark charcoal (a tad darker than the ULW K390), deep indigo blue, or a very dark burgundy/oxblood.

What would you guys like?

Toxic green sounds fun. Otherwise, blue sounds good.

I chose dark blue. It was a hard decision. This is my most looked forward to knife

My favorite is Delica brown

I said gray earlier, but I totally forgot about toxic green...it's time for a new bright color, IMO there are too many browns and blues and other such colors at the moment..I vote toxic green.

I voted other because I'd prefer a dark green to toxic, but now that I'm looking closer to the options, burgundy might be a nice second choice if dark green isn't possible. Do we know if it'll be the regular bidirectional texture FRN yet?

Voted dark blue as well! I felt that dark blue is a suitable color for a "gentleman's" folder.

I think for a gents folder, a more understated color (a charcoal gray, dark blue, or burgundy) would go well.

Safety Orange or Toxic Green would be kind of fun, but I think for this one I'd personally rather have a more subtle color.

You guys are right, toxic green doesn't really scream gents folder..hmm...I'd love one in micarta hehe

A light "saddle tan" shade of brown would be my first choice. A coppery brown would be my second. Dark blue, a bit darker than the '03 BF Spyderhawk and SF Native 3, or a dark but bright green, like Benjamin Moore True Green, would be next.

Call it by it's other name, lime green, and it might make a nice ladies folder.

A nice shade of red- like the Never Summer Native would look lovely

Well, no black? I'm already dissappointed.

Why would I want to be in a suit with my Chap and pull out some ghetto colored blade?

I didn't vote because I want dark green and it wasn't an option. I definitely DO NOT want toxic green.

Translucent "smoke" gray would be awesome. I also like the idea of a dark British racing green. A bright "safety" red could be fun as well.

I voted for dark blue but I'd be up for any of these. Any shade of red would be great too.

Another vote for a very dark blue.

I also think a dark grey would be nice.

In all honesty, I was hoping for a Blackout Chaparral. The Chap is for discretion and dress-up events, and the last thing I want is something bright sticking out of my slacks.

I chose dark blue and gray of those listed, but black FRN/blade/clip is my hope.
