Sorry no contest, just your opinion. TK just printed an article on the "Fab Four" What are your thoughts on the Spyderco fixed blades?

Most impressing for me is the FB03 Bob Lum Tanto.

The SPOT (it's a fixed blade, right?). <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
As for the others... I know that those are awsome knives yet... for some unexplained reason, they just don't hit my spot (pun intended) <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

I love my Lum tanto. It's the only <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> fixed blade I have so far.

My favorite is the Bob Lum Tanto. It feels great in my hand, balance, fit etc.
Due to the Collectors requirements I own all 5 fixed blades by Spyderco, but I don't normally carry a fixed blade knife, I have read where the FB04 Fred Perrin makes a great kitchen knife.

Thanks folks. Are the Perrins,Temperance and Morans all full tangs?
I really like the Perrin, nice size blade. Are they fairly stout or are they a thin blade?(thickness?)

Charlie is right. My wife thought it was a new kitchen knife. It is not stout but is to my liking for around camp. Long, slender and of course scary sharp. Although shorter, the Moran is a great knife to carry out of the way. I've acquired a Moran with leather sheath, one Kydex and another in Kydex for my son in law. Also have a Perrin and going after another for the son in law.

BUT... for a heavier knife, the Lum Tanto looks like the real thing. Next on the list after a Millie.
