Losing a bid on a nice H1 Spyderhawk, for $2. Missed it while I was at the bathroom!
It was sold for a whopping $55, it was NIB

Gents,
Thank you for support. I found it today in the morning. It was on the floor in my office.
Happy now.

Anyone know how Country Knives came to the conclusion that the HAP40 of the Delica is 62-64 HRC?

Spyderco customer service refused to tell me the target HRC for my Endura due to being proprietary info, so I doubt they'd have told a retailer either.

Does anyone actually know the HAP40 target or tested HRC?

Thanks.

Feeling fortunate since I can't say I have any regrets... or atleast none I can remember, which probably means it wasn't a very big regret to begin with. Managed to land all I felt really compelled to get. Landed a few new designs that I really became close with.
2016 was a phenomenal year for Spyderco fans, as far as I'm concerned.

I guess maybe just a minor regret would be not getting a back up Ouroboros before the 2017 price increases took effect...

Not getting a flame anodized fluted ti military for €220 because I was low on cash after just paying off my student loan in one transfer instead of dragging it out for ten years...

Figured it'd be a wise thing to do... But I wish I would've waiting a little longer so the military would be mine at long last :(

Yeah, I had a Manix 2 LW Maxamet in a cart for a long while... waiting for the moment to feel right... and all of a sudden the price jumped a bit, maybe $5usd or so. Then I wondered if it was just that particular retailer, so I searched all around the net checking prices on that Manix and also a few other models that I had purchased last year and remembered the pricing (like Ouroboros and SpydieChef) and they all had jumped in price a small equal percentage at all retailers.

Wished I noticed increases like this in my paychecks to match, lol, but no such luck at the moment. :(

It's interesting that there are regrets about missing the Hap40 Delica but no votes for it over in the Knife of the Year thread. Yet the Hap40 Stretch is in second place and it can still be found. I just picked one up new from a dealer...I'd still really like the Delica though.

Sadly mine is more negative. I regret an impulse purchase of a Positron. The action is bad and the knife fits poorly in my hands. A very unSpyderco experience for me.
Happily, it was more than balanced by the wonderful Cru-wear Para 2.

Wasn't the Delica Hap40 released in 2015?

Wow, you're right! I didn't think it was that long ago, but it was the end of 2015. Good catch, my mistake, that makes more sense then.

Is it based on year of sales availability, or which year catalog it debuts in?
Like I bought a new car in 2015, but it was actually a 2016 model and would not be considered for the 2015 car of the year...

I believe it was 2015 mid year supplement for Delica. I believe they are going by availability/release date in the other thread. And so it's considered a 2015. It can get real technical sometimes trying to classify things by year :)

Yeah, I'm pretty sure RamZar's list is based on when it was released and actually available for purchase
