Rubicon orange spacer replacement

i have searched the forums and i couldn't find a topic on this...it's either I'm a moron, which is possible, or there is no thread on this...either way i need to replace this orange spacer...this thing is no good for me personally...i need a spacer that is not sharp like this one...i don't want to alter the original spacer at all...does anyone know of someone who makes a replacement spacer for this knife...thanks so much for any help...

I've never seen one. I'm sure some of the guys over on BF that do custom work could do something.

I haven't seen any aftermarket spacers for the Rubicon yet. One, albeit expensive, option would be to wait for the Rubicon 2 and swap the back spacers.

I would offer to make you one but I have too many projects lined up already and I wouldn't be able to get to it until November at the earliest.

Anyone that makes backspacers for any knife has the tools and ability to make one for a Rubicon. So even if you haven't seen any, that doesn't mean you can't have one made. It just requires a qualified maker to be willing to put the time into it. That said, the biggest problem I have with making backspacers is they don't sell for enough $$ to be worth the shop time that they require. So if there are none readily available you might have to pay more than expected to get one made. I suggest you ask anyone you see online that makes backspacers and see what kinds of responses you get.
