VG-10 Stretch-Discontinued?

I am really wanting to pick up a stretch for my collection. The blade geometry looks awesome and I could see myself using it in the kitchen quite frequently. The only ones I can find in stock are the zdp-189 versions though.. Being fairly new at sharpening, that steel scares me. I have never tried to sharpen my zdp df2. Are there any new vg-10 stretches out there or do I need to look for a used one?

There are still a few out there, new at the online dealers. I almost bought one the other day, but then I remembered a Super Blue and a HAP40 and now have stopped to think it over.

I only have limited experience with ZDP (tiny Manbug) but sharpening it doesn't seem too bad. I don't let it get to dull so I've basically only had to touch it up.

I was thinking about getting a ZDP Stretch but then I found a nice VG10 Stretch over on the Exchange. I was still interested in getting one in ZDP but I found a new HAP40 for less than I can buy the ZDP so I bought that. I haven't carried the Stretch much at this point but I have used it in the kitchen and it feels really good in my hand and slices great.
