Anybody heard any hints on approximate release dates for either the Joule or the Mini Valloton? Since Eric dropped the bomb and showed a (very fine looking) production model of the Mini on a Going Gear video, it can't be too far off.

Eric, any more hints for the fans?

Did someone say Joule? Is there any news on this knife? I have not heard that it will be going into production. Did I miss that announcement? SpyderNut do you have any new info on this? :) :spyder:

I honestly have not heard anything from Spyderco regarding their plans for the Joule at this time. (On the other hand, I've been off the grid for the past several days, so I haven't had much contact with the outside world). Let's keep our fingers crossed.

OK, so maybe I jumped the gun on the Joule, but Eric showed off the mini Valloton back in January in a Going Gear vid and said about 6 months. It's been about 6 months. It was not in the mid year catalog. Will this be a limited sprint run and is there any chance of a partially serrated blade option? Come on guys, I've waited patiently the 6 months; what happened to the Valloton? Give us a little hint. :rolleyes:

I would really like to see the Joule; even if I have to sign a NDA. :D

It is possible that Spyderco will be showing the Joule at the upcoming USN Gathering (G8) on September 1st through 3rd in Las Vegas. :) One of these days I'd like to go to the Gathering. Sounds like a great time.

I'm hoping the Rhino will quench my desire for a smaller knife until the Joule sees the light of day. :) :spyder:

But what happened to the mini Valloton? Not in mid year catalog. If a Sprint, then when (approximately) will it drop? Did it get shelved, cancelled, postponed; give us a little hint?
