Origins of the embassy

#1

Post by T-1000 »

Hi guys. I enjoy reading the spyderco catalogs description of each blade and their specific purpose, or reasons for being created, such as the military, civilian, etc. It makes me appreciate the blades even more. Obviously the embassy is discont. So it's not in the catalog anymore and the website doesn't give a description of why the embassy came about. Anybody know??

Probably along the lines of "it seemed like a good idea at the time".

You might want to download the PDF versions of the 2009 and 2010 Op-Focus catalogs here.

Good reading, thanks Deacon. Man that 2010 catalog has some blades that I wish were still around.
