I've been really happy with the knives I have from Ferrum Forge Knife Works. I saw on IG that they had more Stingers available. So one with OD green G10 is on it's way to me. Not really sure now why I chose OD green since I already have a FF Gent with OD green G10

I didn't really want anymore Carbon Fiber but if I would've seen that they had an option for the Marble CF I might've went for that

Either way it should be another nice knife. I'm curious to see what Nitro-V is like

I've heard great things about this knife. I'd definitely like to add one to my collection.

If it's anything like the two FF Gents or Exec I have it should be great, especially considering the price (about $100 shipped). It doesn't exactly thrill me to buy knives made in China but I really like the designs and you get a lot of bang for your buck

raindrop cf slayback from MBK Knives on it's way, my first decent non spydie in quite a while.

Good to see decent production numbers from a company mostly known for very small limited runs, all three versions still up after a few days after release.
Lightly insane.

Current spydie collection: Watu, Rhino, UKPK Salt G10 bladeswap, Yojimbo 2 Smooth G10 Cru-Wear, Manix lw “mystic” 20cv, SmallFly 2, Waterway, Ladybug k390, Caribbean
Current favorite steels: sg2/R2, lc200n/Z-FiNit, 3v

Max Knives out of France collaborates with Perrin, and they recently released another version of the Street Beat sized Perrin bowie called the Le Baby Bowie.

https://knifeoutlet.com/perrin-1903-le- ... blade.html

Image

Basically looks like a Street Beat with a modified tip profile, 440C instead of VG10, and sculpted G10 instead of FRN. Comes with kydex.

Curious to see if I like it any better than the Street Beat in my pocket. If I do I'll haveto get the 6" version as well.

Thanks. Looks good with scales. They used sell one, or maybe still do, with no scales. It's been in and out of my cart a few times.

I was wondering about that a couple days ago. Checked the Facebook groups but couldn't find any info. Never did find out. Still not sure about the 0990. Also interested in the 0707. Not sure how either could possibly be better than the 0470 but I'm interested in finding out

Yep, 0470 is the only ZT I still have. Such a great looking knife, great materials, great smooth action... it's great! Told myself after getting that Sebenza that I didn't need it anymore, but as soon as I see it and fiddle around with it, I can't let it go. Especially for the $165 I paid for it because of a tiny scratch on the clip. The 0707 tempted me for a while but decided I was ok without. This 0990 is very interesting looking, would love for someone here to have one and talk about it. The unique look of it would be nice to add to the collection. I'm one of the rare people it seems that still loves carbon fiber too.

It's going to be regular production right? I don't know much about ZT, never owned one. But I will get the 0990 if readily available.

Really? All the knives that have passed through your hands and never a single ZT!? That surprises me. I like the direction they've been going the past couple years.

I'm trying to remember and I can't think of any... I've always thought they looked cool. If I can get a 0990 I'll be sure and post some pics

Unlike Spyderco there haven't been very many ZT models I've liked. I have the 0450, 0470, 0609, & 0801Ti. All of those were bought for prices that were to good to pass up and it turns out I really like them. The 0470 is the cream of the crop IMO. The action is fabulous (how I imagine a Shiro), detent perfect, ergos, blade shape etc. It's one of the last knives I'd sell and it wasn't on my radar until I saw it on sale for almost half price.

Looking at that 0990 & 0707 I think I'll probably go with the 0707. The 0990 looks cool but I'm guessing the ergos aren't so great. Hope I'm wrong there

I'm with you guys, only a few ZT models appeal to me. But the two I have (the 0640 and the 0450) are awesome. I do wish they'd give their models actual names, though! All those numbers get confusing, especially when they have a 0640 and a 0460, etc. Come on!

HA! I've always thought the same about ZT model names. I'd hate to have a few drinks and talk to another person about ZT's...I'd get myself confused and sound like an idiot if that person knew what they were talking about :p

Glad to see you're loving that CRK! They just seem to keep getting smoother over time don't they!?

Which makes me wonder...I wonder how bobnikon is doing with his?

Up until recently I could only remember that I had a 0450 and 0470. I had to go look at the other knives to go see what they actually are. Now I've looked at those two enough that I remember what they are maybe 50% of the time. In time I'll have them memorized. Take me out of my element and serve me a few drinks and all that's out the window :D

Mostly due to vivi and a really good deal, I ordered a CS SRK. Another fixed blade I really do not need. So weak...
