Vivi, you inspired me. I have a nice watch I wear for most everything and a G-Shock for projects/outdoor. I have recently wanted something different than my G-Shock. I love that watch, but it is too bulky in the winter. Can't get it under long sleeves. Plus I have a small wrist and it is not the best fit. Couldn't really find something I liked, so I decided to walk into Walmart and get another Casio, but smaller and easily replaceable. So far it is perfect.

The Casio W800H is a great inexpensive watch. Good legibility and backlight. Good buttons, but watch out- I have happily trucked along working towards quitting time but unbeknownst to me I’d bumped the DT button, and I keep DT set to the next time zone west of me. Whoops! A reasonable number of features lacking only the countdown timer - and there is an easy mod for that!

That is a pretty cool hack. Definitely something it is missing. He lost me at soldering.

Those slim digital casios are nice edc beaters. ive been really happy with my w218h, and have checked out the one you bought. that field watch I found and wore the other day felt a lot heavier and bulkier in comparison.
kept it light with the lc200n pacific today.

That's an awesome picture! If the Native Chief LW comes out next year, I am going to have a heck of a time deciding between it and the Pacific Salt 2.

Giving the dw5600 another shot. I tried replacing the adjust button with a less recessed button from a different watch with no success. I'll figure something out to extend that button a bit.
