Lefty or Ambi.... report...
Just curious...
how many of us are either lefty or ambi enough to even write left handed?
I haven't found much I can't do left handed... other than the kitchen equip at work thats set up for a right hander.
My Word, My Honour, is my Life.

I am right handed. However, I try to use my left hand too as I believe in ambidextry. I can write with my left hand, but the writing is - to say the least - ugly!

I am left-eye-dominant, and tend to be left handed, but my "strong" side is my right side, as when I am using my whole right arm or leg. I write left handed, but cannot write with my right hand, and I throw with my right, and cannot throw with my left. I use a forward grip with a knife in my right hand, but a reverse grip feels more natural in my left hand. I could go on, but in general I am somewhat ambidextrous, or is it just confused?

Ah, the world of Southpaws...:p
I'll admit it...I'm a natural-born right hander. But, I do use my left hand equally well in deploying my knives (Spydies). (Go figure?) I also use my left hand when I make my custom knives especially when I grind the left side of the blade. (This process took me a long time to master, let me tell you.)
I just wish that Spyderco made a bigger variation of left-handed knives. That way, I could carry more Spydies in my left pockets for back-up and such.

I'm wierd, right handed by nature, but also i'm left eye dominant.
As for opening s I can do either about as quickly, I shoot right handed using my left eye to aim with handguns,Or point shoot a shotgun.
With a scoped rifle or a bow I use a righty, while I can write with my left I fear the law suites for impersonating a DR Ron

I can't write left handed, but I do all my handgun shooting left handed, and I'm ambidextrious with knives. I can now shoot better then I ever could right handed. I decided to change to a lefty shooter about 8 yrs. ago after I broke my right arm for the 5th time, in a motorcycle accident. On this one I had to have pins put in. Because of all this I will have severe authritus someday, and I injoy fireing hand cannons, so I decided it was best for me. RKBA!

Righty here. I can deploy knives left handed, but rarely cut with them in left. I taught myself to brush my teeth and eat left handed (even with chopsticks!). When I was first learning to write Japanese, I started with my left hand. It wasn't much worse than my right. Unfortunately, I switched and lost that ability.
I use the computer mouse in either hand.
