Yes, Allen E Treat is real, and a close personal friend of mine <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
He is a very kind soul and a nice person - but you already know that <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Mr. Treat must surely be the present-day disciple of Saint Nicholas himself. What I mean by this is that he clearly gives joy to others for purely selfless reasons. He should be an example to us all, particularly at this time of year.

Thank you Allen, for the stark reminder lest we should become forgetful, amidst the hustle and bustle of this busy time of year.

But is not the spirit of Saint Nicholas an embodiment of the spirit of Jesus, in the way that he prompts people to celebrate the birth of Jesus?
