I don’t get why it’s called the Whale shark. Killer whale is more suitable for the profile of this knife.

Strange to say, I'm somewhat torn. It wasn't the model I'd originally been looking for - I wanted a F95 or F3 - but the price was too good so I bought it.
The blade shape isn't one I'd have picked, I prefer a lower tip and maybe a tad less belly. I still do. But man it is just so nice, and is such a masterpiece of design and so flawlessly built...I can't not love it.
I've got a F95 coming in the mail tomorrow so I'll be able to directly compare. I still think the F95 will win but even if it does, it'll be really hard to sell the Quantum.
One thing, most reviews I've seen of the Quantum praise it as being one of the best production Shiros ever, almost on par with the Custom Division models.

It is such a beautiful knife! I'm definitely curious to hear you compare the f95.
