Spent the last Memorial Day weekend at my in-laws. They live on a lake and their home has been a Summer getaway for the entire family. Lots of emotions and good farewells to the place. They are moving to a farm.

The Inkosi was in my pocket all weekend except for on the water where it was replaced by the Pac Salt.

Coming to realize that the Inkosi is my favorite CRK model, I've been mildly looking for a PJ drop point now to go with my Insingo with micarta inlays. I bet it still fits like a glove, and I like the look of an eventual worn handle. That's a great pick you made there Jeff, and a tough one to find.

2 more days and hopefully I'll have my hand on one of those beauties to try the fit. Maybe I'll come home with one. That is if a Native Chief doesn't ruin it. That example you have Rick is a stunning combination.

So a week straight with the Inkosi. I got a partial day with the Caly and some time on the water with the Pac Salt, but honestly it has mostly been this. I'll need to set it down next week. To get back on "What Spyderco is in Your Pocket." Going camping this weekend, so I'll take this guy and the Pac Salt.

Pork, beef, and an Inkosi because why not.

Thanks Jeff, I definitely got lucky on that one! I almost didn't buy it because I told myself I wasn't going to spend over $180 on my first fixed blade (granted I had a Mule that I "won" in a contest thanks to Larry and Jim) I think back now, how differently I looked at wharnies until I got that knife. It changed a lot of my preferences!

Glad to see your enjoying that Inkosi! That's a tough price tag to swallow, but normally doesn't come with regret.

It's honestly the most interesting thread, because you never know what to expect! I love the diversity.

if i was ever to get a crk, it would be the same one jeff posted. i just can't bring myself to do it though. i like those guardians too, but for some reason, i'd rather have multiple cheaper knives than one expensive knife.

Jeff definitely grabbed a great one, I also love mine...possibly more than any of my Spyderco's :shush :zipper

Vivi's post yesterday about grabbing just one knife if your house was on fire, I think this would be it. Based on the combination of the price of the knife, materials I enjoy most, ergonomics and blade. This knife has it all for me!

Just noticed this! I glance at them, but I think I'll be in trouble if I start with those. Too many awesome looking handle materials, liners, pins. I'm trying to remain content with what I have (we all know how this goes though...)

I tell myself, nothing can be better than the G3 Wharnie when it comes to a small fixed blade, and it helps ease my brain. Just keep telling myself that :zany
