Those Medfords, if not for the impractical blades...I'd likely get one as a piece of art, those things are beautiful!!

Thanx Rick!!
Yah, I hear ya man. They are not practical. Thats for sure. And, that's exactly why I got them. Just to play with and a good conversation piece.
I think that Fat Daddy weighs maybe 14oz give or take
Heck, these Fatties - are over a quarter inch thick blade stock. Nah man, if I wear a knife to actually use, it's something else. On the other hand, they are as sharp as any you'll ever see outta the box and if ya had to, they will cut well.(cut, not slice well :D ) Lol, but they ain't practical by a long shot.
They come with a really nice case too, to store them in.

Small Seb killer! :p :)
UrbanEDC has had these with a really cool pattern on the handle. I've been very tempted by them.
It's a very nice little knife if you can get passed the country of origin. I happened to catch a sale a while back and couldn't pass it up. Glad I bought it
I have the Massdrop Keen. I think We makes them. I like Laconico’s simple designs and my Keen is remarkably well made. I too struggle with the country of origin but as a knife knut I felt obligated to see why everybody loves the higher end Chinese knives. This is the only one I have purchased and I see why folks buy them.

I have a Keen too and I really like it

I think I now have 6 Chinese made knives. 4 of them are Ferrum Forge designs that have become some of my favorite knives. One was pricey but the other three are excellent values. There's a few Civivi models that I'd probably really like too. I'm trying not to keep buying knives because the design catches my eye. There's simply too many that I like and other hobbies are pulling at the same funds :)

Civivi is really killing it lately! I've seen a handful as well that I'd like to try. I love all these knives their throwing out there with Damascus patterns and shredded carbon fiber. They also ship their knives to you in a nice carrying case with a microfiber cloth as well.

Agreed 100%, I have a few of their micarta/Damascus Rustic Gents and they are flawless.

14 ounces! That’s what my .38 S&W Airweight revolver weighs unloaded.

Getting a Medford really doesn’t interest me but they are nice to look at.

I'm really enjoying the Firetac. Been working on putting a better edge on the recurve.

Watching the Slysz Bowie insanity at $400 has been really weird after picking this one up for $350 LNIB on bladeforums

This 3.5" Elementum Button Lock is pretty awesome. Locked when closed is great, but the deployment takes a little getting used to. Quite thin BTE, and I've always like how sharp Sandvik gets.

One of things I really like about MKT, is that they also flame the little screws too.

I hear ya. That’s what the Sebenza did to me, and exactly why I’m hesitant to pick up a Shiro LOL

The guy who I bought both the 204P and the M390 PM2’s from out of his huge collection, he had a Shirogorov in his pocket. He said when he initially bought it he said to himself “are you stupid for buying a $1000 pocket knife??” He said after he carried it and used it one time, he never thought about the money he spent on it again!

Just look at it this way: if it keeps you from buying more knives, you'll actually be saving money by buying one! :D
