Got the Benchmade 940-1 in the mail today Don't have much experience with Benchmade (4th one) but was happy to find it was very well tuned out of the box. No blade play, nicely centered and good action.

I still have the classic 940 on my list, just one of those knives that I think any real collector worth his salt should own. When I worked at a knife store in college it was the "team knife," everybody had one until I came along.



No knife for me today, traveling with TSA. It'll be a long weekend, but a good weekend.
