Hey Connor, I think it’s a beautiful, tactile, well made classic that oozes old world class.
There were a few things that drew me to it. I didn’t have any Cruwear for one and I wonder how it may compare to Spyderco’s interpretation if I ever find a Cruwear Spyder that takes my fancy (wish Killer stops posting picture of his Cruwear Military
). Add to that it seems quite unique being a traditional German knife with an American blade steel and the somewhat unusual lock bar tab so I couldn’t resist.
It also has the added bonus I think that even being a largish knife it’s nowhere near as intimidating as the modern “tactical” looking knives like we see on the pages here.
I’m quite taken by it so I’ll gentleman carry it and can’t see myself cutting too many cat food cans or five gallon buckets with it. Ah, hahaha!
