More Counterfeits/Fakes: Scissors!

The counterfeitters never stop. It's really sickening. Check this out: There is an excellent brand of scissors and utility knives called OLFA, I am sure many here know of them. They are manufactured in Japan, and use high-quality stainless steel, polymers, and other materials. They are made from start to finish in Japan, and the originator of the company was a Japanese man who knew quality steel.

Here is the original Olfa scissors, first look at these:

You can see the engineered quality. I own a pair and they are excellent, I would recommend them as all-purpose scissors/shears for a wide-range of uses.

Now, I was looking at different scissors and I come across these on Ebay: I would like people here to look at this ad and tell me if you can see the differences. The ebay listing CLAIMS it is "OLFA" but it looks like a total counterfeit to me. Is it a fake?

It says in the ad: "

Two notable things jumped out at me on the fake:

1 The blade looks simpler and weaker, especially where the two scissor planes/blades meet.
2 The handle. The handle looks like its cheapo plastic, not the quality polymers used in the real OLFA.

Also, the price is lower, but that could vary. Generally, the real OLFA scissors will run you around 20 dollars, which is a good price for a quality cutting tool. Sometimes a little higher.

Compare the two, the OLFA from Olfa and the Amazon OLFA, and the Ebay "Olfa" and tell me what you think. What bothers me is that some of the counterfeit knives, scissors, and other products have been finding their way onto Amazon and other big sites. That is bad. The fakers really sicken me.
