I could use a few beers, but I don't have any beer in the house right now so I'm drinking tea and coffee. :squinting-tongue

I'll go buy a 6-pack tomorrow. :party-face

It is "turkey day" after all...

Right now, a super simple maple bourbon smash. (1 part maple syrup, 1 part OJ, 2 parts bourbon -- Wild Turkey 81 in this case.)

And I've got a new bottle of Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit single barrel bourbon that will get opened after dinner. But I'm not going to waste that in a mixed drink.

Did some research and got on the olive oil wagon 3 weeks ago.

First I went local to a very good retailer and bought a bottle, but as far as I know they get all of their olive oil from outside the USA. A bit more research and I found that California has some very good olive oil, so I will start to source it from there from now on.

This will be my next bottle. Very healthy for you:

Looks like I'll be drinking buffalo trace tonight.

My wife contacted them before we got married and then for our 1 year anniversary. They sent this for the anniversary. Also we're expecting our first in January so they included a onesie for him as well.

Clase Azul is some real good tequila to sip with cigar and a neighbor…

Also picked up some buffalo trace because it was available.

Not sure why this stuff became hard to come by over the last few years. It’s good… but not that good.

Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare, and Weller were my go to's for years. They are good for the price. Well Eagle Rare is good no matter what IMHO. Bottom shelf price on the Weller. But then they became extremely popular and "rare."

There was a craft beer surge then shortly after a whiskey surge in America. It has settled down, and Buffalo Trace has increased production, but that takes years to hit shelves. Once it does and with a leveling off of demand, I hope it goes back to a great budget bourbon. In that role, I think it is great.

Shannon, a new one I have been enjoying is Pinhook High Proof. I'm taking it to both my family get togethers this Christmas. Drinking it this weekend. Highly recommend it.
