Man did that scene drive me crazy. Though my family was far more annoyed at the rant I went on about it during the movie haha

When I saw the movie a year ago I said the same thing. At least in training day Denzel's character didn't say "this is my Spyderco tactical knife", he just held it up to the Thug's face and there was no mistaking what it was.

Yeah, it's a very "rare" specimen that wears the name of a completely different brand :p
Smith & Wesson SW911B, still a pretty decent knife... But it's far from a spydie :D

Maybe the props department bought it on ebay and the description said Spyderco. :)
