Sal, is there any word on the Strider collaboration?

I know Sal himself had mentioned some time back that him and Mick had been talking about doing a knife together. I was just curious if there is still plans for this or any updates or if it had been shut down all together. I hope it's still ago as this would be one beast of a knife and very unique if it has the spyderco style.
Thanks spydercrew!!

I'd totally missed this...I've looked at Striders on a number of occasions, but always seem to want to buy 3 Spydercos for the same price to further expand my collection...I'd definitely give a collaboration a VERY close look.

What size would interest everyone the most? Smaller like the PT or more like the SnG?

at least SnG size, possibly SMF, I would just like to have a good size strong folder with a pocket clip. IMO if you go PT you start losing some of the benifits of the brand, strength, durability etc etc. but I know spyderco and strider could come up with something that would amaze us all if they put their heads to it! :D

Id be totally all over the knife, it would be a top seller if the design is appealing.... just don't base it on the SJ75S :P SnG size would sell the most widely

My vote is the for the SnG size.

SnG would be a good mainstream choice. SMF is a very big knife and would have much lower market appeal. A PT would fly off the shelves.

PT would be good

An SnG sized Stryderco would highly desirable.

I'd vote PT size first with SnG size a close second.

I would find this collab to be a clash of two opposing sets of manufacturer values. From what ive read about strider, i couldnt see spyderco teaming up purely out of moral obligation. It would be like gordon lightfoot teaming up with axl rose.

SnG size would appeal most to me for sure.
