Well I was being too careful when I was making dinner and sliced up my thumb and left pointer finger with my brand new elmax pm2. I learned the hard way how "hard" a spyder could bite. Lost a small dimple from my thumb tip and had to get three stitches on my finger

pics tomorrow I don't want to try all of that stuff now

I have a number of Para's, and this was the sharpest out-of-box I can remember. Hope this heals quickly. When I had stitches from a new Delica it left almost no scar because the knife was so sharp.

Sorry to hear about that. :( Hopefully it didn't ruin your supper at least. Hope you heal quickly.

My para was/is the sharpest knife I have ever encountered.

My elmax wasn't that sharp. It is now though. :-)

Hope that you heal quickly.

After recently acquiring a Para2 and a Military I'm amazed at what incredible slicers they are. They glide through things like magic. I have other knives just as sharp, with FFG's and even thinner spines (manix 2) but for some reason the PM2 and Millie are like lasers through everything they touch. Still haven't cut myself bad enough to need stitches yet. Hope you heal up quick, that sucks!

As some have said, "it isn't truly 'your' knife until you've at least cut yourself with it".

Right?

I, however, prefer to keep my fingertips (though I've come close to losing a couple). Those stitches will be out in no time!

Had my first bite from my Endura...
Sharpened it up and closed it after stropping.
Went to get it out of my pocket later that day...
Caught on my finger and cut without any effort, removing the side of my nailbed.

Learned the hard way how sharp VG-10 can get :')

I call that bonding with my knives, you'll be better before you know it.
