FRN jester sprint

#1

Post by araneae »

I would really like to see an frn jester sprint, perhaps super blue or zdp. The g-10 version sold well so why not try frn? I vote for orange or lime green. Maybe split the run half PE half SE. Any takers?

I'm in for an FRN Jester. Screw construction, Superblue or ZDP, Burgundy or Navy FRN. Sign me up for a few!

I think the FRN would be harder to get than a G10 version due to the FRN mold. I am in for a couple of Jesters, you can't never have too many backup knives.

Just check out the ongoing Ladybugs thread to see some FRN Jesters. :)

I have the PE and SE black FRN Jesters, and would love some other colors! Just can't stomach the high prices for colored FRN older models on the secondary market (doesn't seem like these should cost $150-200+), so some fresh options would be much appreciated. I think at one point I asked Sal for a grey FRN SB Jester, but maybe that was just a dream :D .

Not by a long shot.

The molds are still in Seki and being used to produce the handles for the FRN Ladybug III. There are no model specific markings on the handle, just a :spyder: , so using them again for Jesters wouldn't even require changing an insert, just blades and box labels. :)

Dark green, lime green, orange, Navy, dark burgundy I will be in for PE, if blade SS. One or two depending on color of scales. I have couple, but key chain knife make a good gift. I gave away several Ladybugs, because I didn't have Jesters. And everybody still happy.

I opened my mouth and exposed my ignorance. I didn't know that the FRN jesters were identical to the ladybugs. In that case.... BRING ON THE SPRINT!

How about it is FFG too. That grind suits these little guys better.

I would keep the grind as is. It is proven to work well.

I'm not opposed to FFG. I much prefer the Ladybug in FFG.

I'm down with a lime green or really any shade of green. I love me SS plain edge Jester. I like the blade shape much more than the ladybug.
