Hah, no way man, I love it! That's what this thread is all about! I would definitely make one of those if I had a pe atlantic salt. The problem with doing that on the se versions is the serrations go to the very end and I think you would end up with a weird/fragile tip if you took the spine down that much.

Here's a CE I shortened and wharnified.

Bonus pic of my wharnies. I do regret the Caly, though.

Nice work Jazz! Of all the ones pictured, I think I like the blue one best, and I don't normally even like blue as a knife color. You're forcing the cogwheels in my head to grind into new positions (Sal does this all the time!) :)
K-390 on hand: Mule Team 17, Police 4 G-10, Endela (burlap micarta), Endela backup, Endura (canvas micarta), Straight Stretch (now blade-swapped with G-10 Stretch), Delica Wharncliffe, Dragonfly Wharncliffe, & Dragonfly Wharncliffe shorty mod
Note to self: Less is more.

And of course that's a real old pic. I have another one that should be included that someone else made. ;)

Liquidcobra, I just drew a line from the back to tip on the blade and ground that off. My regret is that now I can't replace the G10 Caly 3, unless Sal does a sprint (please?).

Very cool. I like that better than the regular version. What did you use to grind it?

Probably my easiest mod yet. I just used a diamond disk for that flat shape, then quickly gave it a rough edge grind with the same tool, then sharpened. Don't do it unless you don't mind not having the knife back you can't buy any more. Believe me. I have the carbon fiber one still, but I miss the G10.
