Subscribed! Wicked video, seems to hold an edge very well! I'm glad I picked one up, now just have to find some scales :)

Not all that bad, I did snap the blade out of the wood sideways a few times to stress the edge to see how it would hold up.

It would take a lot more cardboard than that to really start to show any kind of noticeable dulling. :D

It was more about testing for edge damage for me.

It did well. :)

In your opinion how did this mule cut and perform compared to to the M4 mule?

Never tested the M4 mule so I can't really say.

I am just curious how Spyderco's CPM S110V( Mule team18) compares to Spyderco's CPM M4(Mule team 2)

Didn't test it the same way, rope cutting etc so I can't really say.

Thanks Jim.I think it would be a really interesting side by side test. S 110V and M4 are amazing steels.I am interested how they compare to each other performing the exact same task such as cardboard cutting.I hope you enjoy your knives and thanks again for posting and sharing your cutting tests.

Seems to me to be more revealing than micrographs and charts. Good work Jim. Hope the testing didn't stress your injury.

Just wanted to show that it can be used for more than light use. :)

Being as thin ground as it is behind the edge and at 60 RC (Tested) it's a nice balance I think.

Based on my other experiences with S110V it can take quite a bit so people don't really have to be all that gentle with it, just use some common since. :)

Yes, they are both good steels, both have their uses. :)

Thanks for your continued work, Jim, and than you, Salmonkiller, for the nice M4 mule video. Wish some of those were still available. It would make a great addition to my current two mule team :)

Also feel like I don't need to baby it as much anymore.
Still had to hurt even with the chair.

M4, S110V, K390, all good stuff, should be interesting comparing the coming Maxamet Mule to them..
