Image Uploading App
Image Uploading App
I have an iphone and curious to know what is a good app for uploading images to directly to forums. I found a couple but none of them allowed you to change the size of the image, unless I am missing something. I found one way but it consists of using 2 apps (Photbucket and PicsArt).
Any suggestions please let me know. Thanks.

I use my Motorola Droid for most of my pictures and have them automatically set up to copy to my Google drive. Then I get a message tone when they are uplaoded. I just copy the url from the drive and past it into the message box here. In the past I used tumblr to accomplish the same practice, but the uploads had to be deliberate!

PicsArt would be used to resize the image. If I just use photobucket and post the link in a thread, the pic is gigantic. So I'm trying to find a way to resize it first. This is only for my phone. When I use photobucket/imageshack from my computer, it has options of resizing.Holland wrote:i use the photobucket app. upload with photobucket, copy the img code and paste it on the forums. why do u need to use PicsArt?

The bigger pic might look better on your phone but its way too big when viewed on the computer. I'm always posting knives for trade and sometimes up to 10 photos and no one wants to see that many huge pics!Switchback wrote:I don't know about anybody else but I prefer the larger photo. I would stick with that and forget about PicsArt.
Photobucket used to work great, and would automatically resize iPhone uploads to an appropriate size with good looking results, but just recently, they did some updates, and the app is now terrible. The resized pics are pixelated and jagged. I've stopped using Photobucket because of this. As I missing some way to avoid the horrible image quality after the auto resizing?
I've been using imgur too, quality is good, but the pictures turn out really huge.

What resolution do you run your computer's monitor at? Mine's at 1920 X 1200 and the small photo looks like a postage stamp to me while the bigger one is a reasonably decent size.Revival wrote:The bigger pic might look better on your phone but its way too big when viewed on the computer. I use different computers but the images was uploaded from my phone. The small pic was just an example. I like the option of choosing the size of the pic rather than only having 1 huge pic every single time. Some of you prefer the larger pic but I'm sure a lot of people rather see a smaller photo. The Deacon wrote:What resolution do you run your computer's monitor at?
