Yes. Folks just couldn't wrap their heads around paying nearly twice as much for them as for the FRN versions.

The street price was around $100 for them. I believe there was stiff competition even in the same product line. Why would I pay $100 for a Delica when I can get a Caly 3?

It's possible that the timing was bad.

They sell fast on the secondary now and command around $120 still. Also, people keep asking to bring it back. I think a sprint for the Delica/Endura G10 will sell...

I know that when I offer a G-10 Delica up for a trade with 10 different offers, I would say 9 times out of 10, people go for the G-10 Delica.

It's a pretty highly desired model, even if people aren't willing to shell out the money for them when they're in production.

I put G-10 scales on my ZDP delica, and I can see why they're in such demand.

Perhaps a run of 1200 or so. Depending of course if people like Nutnfancy push them on Youtube.

The problem (as I see) is the retail cost would likely be more than it was a few years ago. If they had problems at $115'ish likely more people are willing to talk big than lay down credit cards. :(

That's a good point. I figured after seeing the preorder price of the new Worker that if they released a new G10 delica it would be similarly priced. So I sucked it up and got one from national in November. Been carrying it since and wish I had bought one when they were first released.

The G-10 Delica is in stock at National Knives. I got one. It's very nice. They've been available there for awhile.

I suspect you're right. In 2009, the MSRP of the FRN Delica was $90 and the G-10 version's MSRP was $180. The Endura MSRPs were $95 and $200, respectively. Given that MSRP for the FRN Delica and Endura are now $105 and $110, it's a pretty safe bet that a G-10 ones would have MSRPs of at least $210 and $220 and, given that the Worker G-10 Sprint's MSRP is $280, those numbers might be very optimistic.

Most likely. I think anyone who wants one should try to grab either NIB or lightly used. That or buy a Dragonfly G10 and squint hard at it ;) .

I've had 2 G10 Delicas and 2 G10 D'flys. Keep trading them off for whatever reason. I might see about getting another Delica.

I'd buy one with G10 and an Emerson wave in a heartbeat. I really don't like FRN, just like I don't like Polymer framed handguns. I like the heft of metal.
