The best balanced small in size EDC knife for utility purposes?

I am getting ready to carry a Karahawk, but its strictly for defensive purposes, so now I need a small, easy to carry utility blade for my back pocket. I don't want something bulky that will be uncomfortable for when I sit down. But I also need something that can fulfill most cutting tasks. I was thinking ambitious or Dragonfly. Suggestions?
EDIT: I guess I should have originally stated for at or around 50 bucks. I am going to abuse the blade after all, so I'm not looking to spend a hundred bucks on a knife I'm going to abuse.

I know that more than a few people carry a Military in their back pocket. It doesn't really interfere with sitting. Just a thought.

That's a bit too big for me. And I don't want to spend that much on a blade that's going to get the red headed step child treatment.

I'd recommend a knife you already own: FRN Delica. But if you want even smaller, then the Dragonfly, as you mentioned, is a great choice as well.

Per ounce and blade inch the dfly2 has no peer for the money. The Ladybug/Manbug would but no clip.

I would think your Delica would fill that role quite nicely and is one the smallest Spyderco I'd personally carry for utility or self-defense unless restricted due to local blade length laws. I have a dragonfly for carry when I visit Chicago and feel it's just too diminutive as I dislike not being to get a full grip, feel leverage is poor with it and have always struggled with quick one handed opening due to it's small size.

Yeah, but I think I love the Delica too much to abuse it in such a way. I'll consider it though. Maybe I'll get another without the emerson opener.

Look at the Cat! Full liners, G10 slabs, hand-filling grip, 2.5in. blade, for 40 bucks! :D

Pingo might do the trick. Great little cutter.

Everyone should own at least one dragonfly. I think it's one of spydercos top 5 designs.

What kind of abuse are you thinking? What are you using in that role now? Is something changing that would create abuse like new job? I would not overthink it man, get another Delica. Basically the same price, maybe the full SE

Dragonfly. In ZDP preferably.

I've been carrying mine in my left pocket (my normal EDC Manix 2 is back in the right) because I'm teaching my daughter about knife safety and the Dragonfly is more her size.

Even with the Manix on me, the Dragonfly sees a lot of use. It's not big enough to be my only knife at work, but I'm constantly impressed with it.

It would see a fair amount of use. Nothing too serious, but I'd get my money's worth out of it.

Damnit. Now that everyone has made suggestions I have to pick between all those awesome knives. Ugh. How can I pick only ONE out of all those beautiful pieces? How?!

What's your typical cutting material, and do your work in an office or other place where people might be alarmed by a knife? If not a Delica FFG, if NKP's are an issue I'd snag a Manbug with a bit of cord for a lanyard, or the Dragonfly.
