Looks fine to me. Steep price though.

Though I've never seen a S90V mule in person, this one looks like a laminated blade to me. At least in the picture it does.

Pretty sure all the mules have been made in Colorado, and that is clearly marked Seki City. That plus, as M.Freeze said, it looks laminated and the S90v version wasn't laminated, points to it being fake.
edit: No point in it being judged off the pic, since the description says: "(Pics are stock, but knife shipped will be the one advertized.)"

So the seller is asking $219 but can't be bothered to take accurate pics of the actual knife?
I'll pass..

The mules were not all made in Colorado...

Yeah the tang stamp says COS-3 or some other number, which is the mark for the Cobalt Special. That, coupled with the Seki City mark pretty much seals the deal. Either the guy loaded the wrong pics or he's trying to scam people.

The Mule in the picture is the COS-3 (Cobalt Special) model. The listing description states the actual S90V will be shipped. Seems odd, but the price is closer to what the S90V versions have gone for in the past.

As phaust noted above, one of the very first things mentioned in the listing, was that the pics were "stock", and the item would be shiiped as described, which is "NIB"...

I have purchased two knives from this seller over the last year with zero issues (including a much cheaper Mule than the S90V one here), he is a straight up seller in my book.

I'm sorry. Those aren't "stock" photos of the COS Mule. He's either too lazy to take some photos of a hugely expensive knife, or he's scamming someone. Either way, I'd pass.

Maybe he ran out of film in his camera. :)

Actually, I'm not lazy. I have two jobs: a farmer and a contractor. I just don't have a lot of spare 'knife' time, so I used the same pics for all the mules I've sold. Obviously, if someone asked for actual pics, I'd take the time. But my 100% feedback there, and on the forums, seems to give my buyers all the assurance they seem to need. And I stated explicitly the mule that would be shipped.
As the growing season wraps up, and construction slows as we go into the winter, I should have more time to stay more current with these details. :) Sorry for any confusion.

Thanks for the welcome and kind words. Looking forward to participating. And I finally had a chance to put the appropriate pics with the knife. Sorry again for any confusion.
