Haha, nice grips are great for tricking people into thinking my $400 Rock Island Armory is a nice gun. Actually, pound for pound those are probably 400 of the best dollars I've ever spent. Those guys really can put together a great budget 1911. Plus I love the way bacon fat glistens on parkerized steel.Pocket Lint wrote:**** RWB1500 That is a nice 1911 you have there, who makes it?

I agree that the right details on a quality budget 1911 can make it appear like a $1000 + version. I personally like aggressive grip panels with a smooth front-strap commonly found on budget 1911s like yours (and my Para GI Expert).Rwb1500 wrote:Haha, nice grips are great for tricking people into thinking my $400 Rock Island Armory is a nice gun.
