All of the SB models in-the-works will be the same laminate. That includes: Endura, Stretch, Delica, Dragonfly, Ladybug and Manbug. Each model will be coming out a couple of months after the previous one.

So I guess there will be no patina parties. :p
I wonder if the Stretch will be laminate as well?
I believe that all the up-coming super blue releases are laminated.

That's the first I heard of the Manbug being included in this SB series, God bless you Sal and company! I love that little knife, especially the grey G10 version as it was my very first Spyderco knife. :) I keep the black FRN version on my keychain when I noticed the bolsters getting scratched by my keys (the horror!).

I don't think I will let this one go. It would be my first endura, but I think I am going to complete the Superblue family. Thanks Sal for the Dragonfly especially!

On one of the retailer's sites they are characterized as sprint runs.

I would love to see a cross sectional diagram for these laminates, just for educational entertainment.
For instance how thick is the superblue core in relation to the 420j2 sides?
and what is the shape of the laminate? flat? diamond?
Interesting stuff for sure!
Gawd i wish i could afford to be a member in the Spyderco collectors club :)

I heard that the SB would be in a diamond cross section.

Hmm...might need to get my first dragonfly...I like the G10 one...but didn't love it. The others...meh. But a SB one, I just might need to have. I have already preordered the Stretch and the LB.

That's cool chuck!
I remember looking at old katana construction methods, some had similar designs i believe.
I can see myself now teleported back to feudal japan, facing off with Musashi with my trusty spydeco superblue/420j2 wakizashi and katana. :) (musashi chops off both my arms before i can blink, then walks off with my superblues cause he likes the look of the spyderholes)
ok i have gone to far...
