I prefer *not* to have the collector's number, but since I plan on using mine it's going to get some marks on it anyway, so I went ahead and ordered one of Howe's collector's ones yesterday. I hope I like it :) .

KC also has them for pre-order.

Just played with one at SFO and it is amazing! I expected it to be heavier than it is and the cubic check carbon fiber looks incredible in person and provides an excellent grip. It fits in the hand naturally and the blade looks like it should be a wicked slicer. All those who have one incoming you will not be disappointed.

I preordered one from knife center a while ago, but still haven't received a shipping notification yet... maybe it will come Monday. Anyone else in the same boat?

Ooh, K-dub has a nice price on the Domino, more in line with what I thought it should be. I would be tempted to jump on that but I have a green para on the way so my knife fund is a bit low at the moment. I'll be looking forward to seeing some comparison pics when these babies start hitting some doorsteps.

As soon as these are in the wild, can someone post a photo of a Domino next to a Sage 2? I'd like to get a feeling for the size, particularly closed.

Will do, P2. I'll throw in a Manix too, since some folks are comparing it to that one as well.

Thanks Ted. I really like the look of the Domino (and frame locks / RILs in general) but I have always thought that the Sage takes up a lot of space in the pocket - I'm not going through the agro of Mauritian customs (weapon vs tool debate in the absence of any real guidelines - not sure how the SOG Tomcats I have seen available in a B&M outlet got in) for something that I could well never use. If it is too big I'll just have it shipped to South Africa and kept there until I go back at some stage.

I'd like to see a side by side with a domino and a southard too. See how the two spyderco flippers compare.
