I mostly stuck to Golden and Japan models when i first found out about Spyderco, after purchasing the sage2 i couldn't stop buying Taiwan Spydercos! Now my 4 favourite knives all come from Spyderco's Taiwan facility :D
and the Top 3 :D

Spencer which Chap do you like better? I'm trying to decide between a Chaparral 1, 2, or an Air. I'm currently leaning towards the Air because I don't have any M4 in my collection yet.

The CF chap is my dads, I definitely like my TI chap better tho. Both r amazing. The air is most likely gonna be my next purchase :D

Maybe you are right. These knives are carbon fiber and CPM S30V. The first production. And there is not Taichung but Taiwan standing on the blade. I thought this was the same manufacturier. Qualitate is the Same!

hi there,
The first editions Cat and Chicago (CF and CPM-s30V) came from a diffent manufacturier in Taiwan.
They were discontinued after some problems.
