(And: Do you also find it hard to decide: Focus on the KNIFE and the background gets blurred or focus on the BACKGROUND and the knife gets fuzzy? In this case: VERY nice knife, but still I prefer to see the background (and by that the place you live! :) )

Thanks, yes it's always on my mind whether to focus on the knife or the view. I usually try for a shot that keeps the knife in focus and still gives an idea of what the background looks like but it can be tough to try and compose a good shot when out hiking and limited to the camera on the phone.

I'm blessed to able to be able to wake up and have this view every morning. When I was a kid I used to ditch school and drive to this beach. It was a dream come true when I was able to buy a house here 10 years ago and I'm grateful every day. :)

The only thing as meditative for me as pouring three fingers of whiskey and sharpening a knife is pouring three fingers of whiskey and loading my own ammo. It’s nice and quite in the man cave.

Don´t have a Native anymore, but still think it´s a very cool little knife that does many things just right... and in burnt orange and that steel it´s probably as good as it gets!

My favorite lightweight carry. Not much I can't get done with these two in my pocket.

She's an excellent artist! Very sweet. :)
